Stefanie is leaving, Daisy is coming: let's party!

As most of you know already, Stefanie will be relocating to Taipei this summer. She won't be far, but she will be away and we are going to miss her very much, as a Tango organizer and as a friend. Daisy Zhang, a long time Beijing tango dancer who just moved back to Beijing from Shanghai will take over from Stefanie, working with Michael and Gwen who are still around! Andrès and Isabel workshop videos

The workshop by Andrès and Isabel was highly successful. We all learned a lot and for some of us, our danse will never be the same as before. May 3rd milonga cancelled

Due to the 1st of May vacation, most people are leaving town: the Sunday class and milonga on May 3rd are thus cancelled.Join some of us at the Seoul Tango Festival instead!

Special movie screening

As part of the current Andres and Isabel Workshop, we are pleased to invite eveybody interested in tango history to attend the showing of "Tango, baile nuestro", a documentary by director Jorge Zanada (1988) which Andres and Isabel offered to show us. The movie, in Spanish with English subtitles, is an "impressionistic look at the tango in Argentina, mixing dance sequences with interviews, archival footage, and atmospheric fictional scenes. The workshop is up and running and the first classes were already well attended. You can now download the full details of the 4 beginners' classes, 6 intermediate classes, 6 advanced classes, 4 technique classes and 4 classes dedicated to the Milonga con traspie. Temple Milonga on March 20th

The welcome Milonga for Andres and Isabel will take place in the now famous 700-year old Hong 'En Temple. Please meet Andres and Isabel...

Andres Laza Moreno Born in 1983, Andres began dancing when he was 14 year-old; He soon joined the Ballet Zaraza Tango with which he gave his first shows in some of the most important milongas in Bunenos Aires. In 2002, he obtained the first role en el gala "Hugo del Carril", one the most important tango event of the 2000s. Coming New Year schedule
